noodly appendage
I'm going to change my posting format so I don't have to do math anymore.
Goal - 500
Rides so far - 3
Miles so far - 92
Feet climbed - 3,407
Good start to the month, had a couple of nice gravel rides in Fort Worth, going for the Tour de Italia (Texas) pre-ride tomorrow.

June Goal: 200 miles
June 2 - 16.8 miles - '97 Trek
June 3 - 11.9 miles - '97 Trek
June 4 - 24.0 miles - longest ride so far in 2019, felt great today on the '11 Fuji
June 8 - 7.8 miles - '97 Trek
It has been wet and rainy here, but watching the weather radar I caught enough of a window to get in almost 8 miles before the next downpour. I am determined to ride!

Twice in last week with a GPS malfunction. Each time adding four miles or so which I have corrected where I caught the rascal. It's a Garmin Oregon 450 I bought for hiking years ago but which has been faithfully recording time and distance for the last three years. Until now.

06/01 - 4.96 - TERRIBLE!!! Another blow out getting really tired of it. Always the rear tire.
06/02 - 42.27 - Great BUT Windy ride. Goal for the day was 50 miles but got leg cramps at the 39 mile mark. Good thing I was only 3 miles from home. Also figured out the blow out issue. Tire Pressure. Switched to Gator skins a few weeks ago and had pinch flats 4 times out due to lower air pressure in the back. Will now be checking pressure before I go out to ensure rear is at least 110 PSI as it seems anything lower causes flats. This is a bumpy ride but I will have to adjust accordingly.
06/06 - 2.74 - ride was more like 7-10 miles BUT my Wahoo Bolt went dead
06/09 - 25.57 - good ride only 1:35 - I have to make time to ride more
Monthly Goal - 300 - plan is to ride during the week on 5-10 mile routes as well on the fitness bike just to stay in tune. Overall speed and cadence is up tremendously since the start last August.
MTD - 75.54
YTD - 1120.31

The rain this weekend in East TN really put a dent in my plans. That said, I was able to get out for a great ride this morning. I'm going to have to play catch up, however...
