Thanks Matt , just got home from Doctor. No breaks, just bruises and a brace . Should be back on the bike in a couple of weeks, I hope . Road rash on both knees, bruised ribs on right side and swollen right hand . Trying recall what happened, I must have hit a slick spot on the asphalt just as I turned to go uphill.
I didn’t even notice your crash report. That stinks, too, I wish you a speedy recovery as well!

Busy with work and business travel in the early part of October and didn't get any miles in. My last ride of the month was cut short (5 miles) because of a fall. Looks like I'm done for the year. I broke my collarbone. 6-8 weeks to heal. I don't know yet if it will require surgery. I've got a sling and a referral to an orthopedist. And a CD with my x-rays (souvenir?). Not sure what I could view them on.

Those slick spots will get you. I’ve gone down I think 6 times in the last year. All slick spots...mud or algae.
