Goals for 2022

Goals: 1500 miles, one 79 KM ride at the end of July, lose 15 pounds. Above all, though: enjoy the rides.
Actual: 1300+ miles on road, longest ride: 69 km; lost 5 lbs.; enjoyed almost every ride. My 'puter shows trainer miles, but they're so different from road miles I don't count 'em. I lost almost 4 weeks of riding during the Summer - 6 days to a crash caused by another guy; 6 days to my son's illness while he was visiting (and I didn't want to leave him and ride on my own), 14 days to unexpected vacation trips. I would probably have ridden at least 10 of those days, and that would have gotten me my 1500 miles and 79 KM ride.
I don't mean to say could/woulda/shoulda. I'm saying I had a very satisfying riding season.

I didn't see this thread until now, but thinking back on the year...
I started out in January with the plan (and goal) to complete the Empire State Trail between Buffalo and Albany. Unfortunately, my riding group decided that a weeklong excursion was too much time, and I didn't wanna go alone. So, that goal got modified by February and the new goal was to ride the GAP. Did that.
Rode over 1000 miles which is always a goal.
Not my strongest year but definitely not my worst.
