Weather is getting warmer. Gnat inhalation rate will almost certainly increase.
What are your goals?

Since I keep falling short in my mileage goals this year, instead of increasing my goal this month, I'll keep it at 600.

Now that it is May, the goal is to get in at least one long out of town ride. Gotta get the bike onto the car and head to a bike path for an adventure. Cape Cod Rail Trail? Shining Sea bike path? Maybe the East Bay Bike Path (Rhode Island). Those are 3 favorites. CCRP mayb ea little ambitious this early in the year. That is a 50 mile round trip. (Nothing to some of you, but long for me). Shining sea is good. Only 22 round trip. I can do that without a warmup.
Now to check the weekend weather. Still cold now. 50 and sunny.

My goal this month is 100 miles again , unless my wife gets better soon and I can get out to the Silver Comet Trail .
Maybe next month as she still has to wear the neck brace for four more weeks .

Weather is getting colder, more fog in the air, most moisture even when it's not raining, but it can't really get any darker than dark.
This time last year as winter approached I was walking the streets at 5am this year I'll be riding when weather permits.
So far I've already had one really wet and foggy morning, guess I'll just have to wait and see what the rest of winter brings.
Not sure I'll have a goal yet but I aim to do at least 27ks, three days a week.

My goal is 300 miles, I'm out of town most of the month and will see if I can ride on any type of regular schedule. Its cold all next week and raining most of the week.

I had a great April, May is a busier month for us, camping and fishing. Since I know there isa couple out of town trips, I am going to lower my gaol if I beat it great. We are planing of shooting down to Bella Vista to Rogers Ark and spending a day or two riding down there. That is about a two hour drive for us.
Just any weight loss
225 miles.

I have to ask where are you located? Myself I do not do well in the winter with more darkness, hoping we come to our senses and stick with the current time we are on here in the states, love being able to ride in the evening after work, or do yard work. Mainly ride.

29.5km this morning at an average of 21.1kph. Slightly faster, slightly longer, but not a bad start to the month

Now that I can breathe pretty normally again, I think I'll be up for more riding. Going to shoot for 250 this month. 105 of it would have been the San Diego Century, but prior commitments have precluded that, and I didn't get to train enough for it anyway. We'll see how it goes.

May Goal: 200 miles
I'm going to keep my May goal at 200 miles since I haven't met any monthly goals yet this year, due to back problems. Hopefully I will get 250 or more!
May 1 - 10.2 miles
May to date: 10.2 miles
2022 total to date: 378.3 miles
2022 Goal: 2,200 miles
*All my miles are outdoor miles on a 2011 Fuji Absolute 3 (unless otherwise noted) - my backup bike is a 1997 Trek 830.

Goal: Get back on the bike!
I've taken a 7+ year hiatus. My kids are now 11 & 9. I'm sitting right at the borderline at 200lbs but really relate well to this group.
I will check back later this month.

29.6km this morning, no idea where the extra 100m came from but it was a good ride with no dramas, although I nearly ran over a little yapper that bolted away from his owner while they were walking along the footpath.
It was 3C out there this morning but there was no fog and no wind so it was relatively pleasant.
total ks for May 59.1
