I'll be riding dirt bikes in Colorado for the first week of the month. That'll take a bit out of my bicycle riding. I'm going to scale back this month and shoot for 700 miles.

Travelling a lot for work this month, most likely just 15-20mi each weekend.
Had a shoulder MRI done last week and pending my consult in a few days i'm pretty sure I need surgery which will no doubt affect my time on the bike.

Have been having some nagging muscle pains the past week and was iffy on riding yesterday, but went for it anyway. I didn't have my bike rack on the car so I decided to just start and end in my driveway. Living on the ACA Northern Tier Section 9, it's plenty bikeable here with decent views of our Great Lake. I should ride from home more often...

Up to 62 miles so far in August. Goal is 500 miles.
I'm back riding after several years hiatus. 6 weeks of riding in so far. 660 miles. Dropped 12 pounds so far in about 3 weeks of weighing myself, so I've probably lost at least 20 I'm guessing. Still at 224 pounds today and goal is to get under 200 pounds. Weight loss is plateauing this week it seems like. Will try to eat better to get it going again.
But I'm super happy with the FTP gains. Up to 312 today. And was around 134 estimated when I started out. Strava and the Garmin gps/power meters are pretty awesome. Even if you're not losing the weight, it seems you can always find some stat to feel confident that the work you are putting in means something.
Keep up the good work everyone.

August Goal: 110 miles
Getting a late start to August, and setting a lower goal in hopes of actually making it! Leg is not perfect, but it's seems to be getting better (slowly) all the time.
8/4 - 10.2 miles
August to date: 10.2 miles
2022 total to date: 768.5 miles
2022 Goal: 1,500 miles ( was 2,500 miles once upon a time... )
All my miles are outdoor miles on a 2011 Fuji Absolute 3 (unless otherwise noted) - my backup bike is a 1997 Trek 830.

1800 feet elevation yesterday 2500 today…at 10,000 feet. That’s rough for a Clyde who rides pretty flat terrain at 600 feet above sea level. Scenery more than makes up for the extra effort.

Ribble Endurance SL disc sport
I was looking for an endurance bike. Trek Domane in my size completely out. Canyon cf sl7 also completely out. I found ribble online and looked at their models. The Endurance sl disc sport was really reasonably priced under $3000 with carbon wheels and 105 mechanical.
I have a couple hundred miles on it. It started out a little heavy so I added carbon bars and tubeless tires. First time ever mounting tubeless!
