Question on shoes
My son just asked me a question on when did I know when it was time to change the cleats in my shoes. I just looked at him and said I don't know. I have never worn cycling shoe before so I need to ask. How do you know when it's time to change the cleats in your shoes. I am wearing Pearl Izumi SPD mountain bike shoes versus the standard road shoes.

so I guess you will just notice the feel of your foot in the pedal being different then, less force to remove your foot and lock in?

I came close to falling once when I almost got hit by a truck, big big big big truck, luckily, I was already unclipping and was able to put my foot down in time. well I guess if I got hit, I would have fallen down any way, so......
