New Wheels on the way...
...well they actually won't ship until Friday. I just got off the phone with Mike Garcia and he is lacing me up a set of velocity wheels, 28 spokes in the front and 32 in the rear. Mike's recommendation took into account my weight and riding conditions (I'm 230lbs and live in SocCal). Who knew there were so many options and combinations. I can hardly wait until they get here it's gonna kinda be like Christmas week for me until they arrive. I have been shopping for a while and have relied heavily (pun intended) on this forum to make my decision. Thanks.

You're gonna love them. I've got 7000 miles and 9 centuries on my MG wheels, and they are still like new. I'm the same weight as you - he built me a 24/28 set with DT Swiss hubs and Niobium rims. Stiff, light, and fast.

The first time I called him I was on the phone for an hour. I have no idea where he finds the time to build wheels, if he spends that much time with everyone that calls. But he seems to do ok - from order to doorstep was 2 weeks.
