Bike Forums - Stupid day....

I gotta rant, pardon me for ranting here.....

Today is stupid day....

We have 50km/h winds, STUPID wind.
My doctor tells me my back is now okay, after injuring it 6 weeks ago, STUPID back.
My doctor also tells me, I have a hernia, that needs surgery, STUPID hernia.
The car's fuel pump decided to die, STUPID car.
I need to fight the wind, on the bike, to go to the cat food store, which does NOT have bike parking, STUPID store.

Like I say today is STUPID day. The only bright point, the car died not 5m from the front door of Davisville subway station, making it convenient to at least get home, although I used up the spare subway ticket I always carry for just such an occasion. We decided that our car, with well over 300,000km on the clock, and over 12 years old, isn't worth spending $700 plus tax (stupid tax) to repair, so now we are unintentionally car free. Doesn't bother me, I can take the bus to work, and ride everywhere else, but my significant other, who doesn't ride, is really concerned..... Hmmm, can't get much of a car for the price of a bike for her though.:D

I think you need to have a serious talk with her about how great bikes are. :)

Your back is Okay so NO STUPID BACK SURGERY. Thank your Good Lord for that. Trust me, you want the STUPID HERNIA fixed 10X for one STUPID BACK fix. Sorry that the day was not better, but it's my job to provide perspective. No extra charge.

Stupid indecipherable order of things!

For me it happens about twice a year for a couple days, and I try to stay in bed as much as possible. Last week I didn't get in bed fast enough and cracked my windshield killing a bug.

Anyway, out of it all, every time, if you watch carefully, comes an opportunity for something. If you look back, you'll find that many of your good habits, your new resolutions come from whatever happens during these STUPID periods...
