Welcome!

I'd like to see the south side of 200 lbs again too - it's been a while (high school, actually, and that was 10 years ago...). I'm working on it though, and in 20 lbs or so, maybe I won't be a Clyde any more.

Nice bike by the way. I just picked up an OCR C3 a week or so back, and it's been a blast to ride. So much faster than my Hardrock!

Welcome aboard! There is an "Athena's" thread (up in the Sticky area) for women, if you want to talk about women-specific stuff. Otherwise feel free to post with the boys. There is much knowledge and support in here.

I will never see the south side of 200 again due to height restrictions. I've set up camp for life in here.

Suggestion on the OCR: if you haven't done so already, upgrade the tires. I recently put on a set of Continental Ultra Gatorskin 700x25's, and I was amazed at how much more responsive the bike was after the swap. It's much more stable in the corners as well, especially at speed. And they're puncture resistant - good deal all around if you ask me.

After that, your next upgrade should be the brakes. The stock ones are some generic brand that work ok, but nowhere as well as a name brand set (Shimano, Cane Creek, etc.)... especially for us larger riders. I'll be putting on a set of 105's next week.

Other than that, just ride that baby. I've been very impressed with the OCR's - aluminum or carbon, they're very nice bikes for the price.

Welcome,

I'm new too. Just started Spinner Saturday Miles. I plan on keeping that up as motivation/inspiration/accountability.
