Finally rode 30 miles this morning!!!

Well guys this may not be a big deal to some of you but I'm very proud. I finally made it past the 30 mile barrier. I felt very good throughout the ride although I live at the top of a hilll and I still can not make it all the way up without getting off the bike and walking for a short stint.

30.3 miles in 2:40:56

and that included a short stop at Lewis Country Store to buy a gatorade.

Congrats! On the 4th I rode more than 20 miles for the first time... and reached my goal distance of 35 miles! The last 7 miles were killer, but I finished... so this morning I went for 25 miles, and it was a really good workout. Here's to 40! Gotta keep raising the bar!

Good on you both! :)

Excellent. I still remember the days that I hit miles stone distances or times. I also mark them down on my spreadsheet. Keep up the great work, you'll be riding 100 soon.

It is a big deal. The more clydes out there, the better for all of us. And personally I enjoy reading the success stories here.

Congratulations on the great result and great ride. Not only are you faster than me, I'd buy a heck of a lot more than Gatorade. :-(

My weekend rides are 30 miles, too! Next milestone I'm shooting for is 50.
Keep up the awesome work. (Yeah, like any of us think riding our bikes is "work".)

GRATZ!!

I remember how stoked I was the first time I did 30 too. That was the big magic number for me.
