Well, let me tell you about ol Jumbo. It looks like I will be making excuses to stay out on longer and longer rides. It seems that I will be a grandpa in 8 months or so, and I will have my daughter and son-in-law moving into our basement for awhile. The only peace I will find will be on big Liberty Blue.

The riding is consistent at roughly 5 miles a day. Nothing exciting. I have been averaging 10-12 mph on my own with limited hills and about 8 mph with my wife. Liberty still purrs and my saddle is comfortable.

I am thrilled to be a Gramps, though I dread all the people back in the house.

Grand Paw Jumbo! Congrats! BTDT! And my Grand Son is the apple of my eye. I'll tell ya, the first one is special and when the second one comes you start to wonder how you can spread your love enough for both of them. That is where I am at right now. My second Grand child will be here between right now and a couple of weeks. My poor Daughter is huge! And pretty miserable right now.

Do what you have to, Love the kids and the grand kids, and by all means get out on that bike!

Chris

P.S. Maybe it's time to start shopping for a used Kid Trailer to tow! LOL! I've got mine!

That Sir, is outstanding. Getting out regularly is for sure what it is all about. And negatory on the nothing exciting, I am way excited for you. THIS is how you will be able to commute! You are awesome and continue to hang in there, remember you're the HIT man.

About the people back in the house. Look into one of those little portable buildings for the back yard and put them in there! Then you can just go visit when you feel like it.
