Poll: What brand do you prefer?

Just throw in your vote for your favorite brand and why.

I'll throw in a funny one. My favorite brand is Huffy, just because that's what I do when I ride a bike. Huffy, puffy, pass out.

I like either Glenlevit Single Malt or Ben & Jerry. You didn't say it had to be bike related

Ooh, Ben and Jerry. Honestly, how many people in the Clydes forum going to the local supermarket and buy a pint right now? I know I might. And maybe pick up a new bike helmet and some lights.

+1 for Giro helmets, since they make a non-custom xxl that fits my freakishly large head.

Also a vote for Gary Fisher.

Anything Italian...or italian sounding. I have a Basso Lotto w/ full campy record and a tommasso aggriazato w/ mostly dura-ace, rest token stuff.
My next bike will be a pinnerallo w/ campy centaur or maybe a new basso (steel frame) w/ chorus.....or...or...or.

Surly, with Specialized being a VERY close second. I love the ride of steel, and love how well Surly frames/complete bikes are thought out. Specialized makes tanks that are absolutely gorgeous, though. If Spec made a steel touring/cross bike, I would have had a really difficult decision.

I've been a Lemond/Trek guy. But after Treks public bashing of Greg Lemond, which should have been kept behind closed doors, it left a bad taste in my mouth. My next bike will be either Specialized or Pinarello.

Specialized. Not just their bikes either, Their body geometry gloves and saddles are great. I hope someday to be able to have a need/money for a comfort 700c specialized bike for the Canal path here where I live. crossroads i think is the model name? My girlfriend liked the Trek better (colors)...

I do want Roval wheels...but...not till i get a lot of money and loose some weight

+1 for Surly. I presently ride a Long Haul Trucker, but am lusting after a Travelers Check because I travel a lot for my job, and it would be nice to have a full-size bike that would fit in a suitcase.

I've got two Worksman bikes, and enjoy them. I'd like to get a Raleigh roadster, and that Big Dummy looks like a cool bike. Some of the Electra cruisers are pretty nifty.

I'm a steel guy. I look at the material and the geometry first (just look at the hodgepodge in my sig).

Bruce Gordon. 1: I get more recognition then all the other bikes I've had put together. 2: I have not been able to break it yet. 3: The builder is local and has been friendly and helpful.

Specialized I guess, I find myself liking there gear without overtly trying to, I tried on 7 pairs of clipless shoes and the specialized felt worlds more comfortable than the rest to me, and I ride a specialized.

If I had to pick one brand I would pick Specialized. Over the years I have owned many Spec. bikes and the company always stands behind its warranties without argument! I also like their tires, tubes, gloves etc. I don't like their shoes... for that give me Sidi's (always comfortable and durable) and for helmets - Giro.

For jerseys and shorts - Terry. I've dealt with Terry for many years and they are still a small, personable company. The clothing is high quality, long lasting and very functioning. I also love my Terry saddles.

For the last 2 years I've been riding a Santa Cruz Superlight MTB. Love the bike. It's perfect for my type of riding but not certain the company is the best. They aren't as responsive as Specialized. Pump - love the Topeak pumps - I have the road and mountain ones. Also like all the Camelbak hydration packs - my favorites are the Rogue and the Mule.

Pedals - have gone through different one - Speedplay, Dura Ace and now Time (on both my road and MTB bikes). They are all good.

And anything Chris King...
