On the road again....

Well, I got all my parts to give myself more space between my saddle and bars (plus the kneesavers to get my legs out more). I've been doing the physical therapy so my back is feeling improved.

I got last part yesterday and got everything on and going last night. I took my re-inaugural ride this morning. I screwed bar tape up, so I rode to the local Performance shop to grab some new bar tape.

Not too bad....it was a very short ride and my bigger problem was just getting a little winded, but that was mainly just from being off bike for last 6 weeks. Especially since Performance is at bottom of a pretty steep hill, so riding back I had to tackle this hill from a dead stop at bottom.

Anyway....short ride, but enough to convince me I can try to start my commute back up on Monday, and if all goes well, get back into the longer rides on weekends in the next weekend or two.

Thank God, I can get back on my bike again and not screech in pain after 300 feet like a month ago.

Out fishing with Annie on his lap, a cigar in one hand and a ginger ale in the other, watching the sunset.

I better not have a major problem with it, or I sure as hell moved to the wrong place.

I saw that! I'll give it a while before I do some nudging...miamijim usually comes through with an id in a couple of hours, but if it disappears to the second page before anyone spots it I'll give it a bump.

Nice looking bike, by the way. Good score for $25.
