I'm a Clyde again YAY!!

Hi folks,

After ducking down to around 190 for a while I started hitting the gym again. I decided that I'll never be a mountain goat hillclimber and my calling is definitely sprinting.

Well, only 10 weeks later I'm back up to around 210lbs of hot muscle, and back in Clyde land.

Although Clyde land is a great place as everyone is so nice

Congrats. I have a way to go before I'm ever out of clyde land, so it's good to have more company. And, it's true, everyone here is nicer.

Welcome back! We just had one leave, so there's a spare bedroom available. Rent is due on the 1st.

I slip back into the clydesdale club on occasion. I can't seem to get below 190 for anything, but even now, once a clyde, always a clyde. After a while, it's a state of mind, not a physical condition.

Since hopping on the bike, I feel better between 190 and 200 than I did when I was "fattening up" and at 150 or 160. I wouldn't mind getting back down there again, but I stopped caring about losing weight, and started trying to feel great and have fun. It's working.

You sure all that's muscle? Two pounds a week is a hell of a lot to pack on with weights.
Easy to do it with beer and Christmas cookies, though...

Or egg nog and christmas cookies. Or hot chocolate and chocolate covered oreos (my personal favorite). I'm pretty sure I've gained like 3 pounds in one sitting with that formula.

Don't feel bad. I've slipped from 215->220. I've just been sitting around eating for the past couple of months. I like to call it resting injuries. Anyway, I'll be back at it in January.
