Shirts for Athenas

No this isn't a question about where to find them, I know where to do that ;P
This is a see a need fill a need thread. I saw those kick ass fat cyclist shirts/jersey's on twinsix.com and I was like, well that's swell, but I'm a girl. So, as an artist, I whipped up an athena's shirt. Before I go running off to the printer to get these made, I wanted to know if any of you lady riders would be interested in one?

And any feed back on the design/colors would be great. Thanks.

Awesome design! Perhaps Twin-Six will consider making jerseys. You should contact them.

Such as, would you make them in regular sizes? I'm not really an Athena, just like to come here because this is a friendly, motivational group of folks. But, I like your design .

150 pounds (I don't think there's a height for athenas, just weight). But I just like the shirt .

I dunno Tom, members have run threads where they disseminated information on ordering shirts, group buys, etc. PM's were used for ordering quantities and exchanging contact info, but usually the threads were used to gauge interest, finalize designs, and share info on costs, materials, etc.

BTW, wouldn't that design be better as a jersey?

It would be great either way. What I meant was if you want to ask the price, then take it to PM to arrange things, not to take the whole thread topic to pm

By the way, I'll do some searches and IIRC, Voler has a semi-custom program where you can create jerseys, fully sublimated type and this shirt would make a great one. You would need to convert the image to a vector graphic file for them.

Just checked and they do

Thanks for doing the research for me Tom!

I appreciate the feedback everyone, I'd like to make it a Jersey, we'll see if I'll be able to afford it.

yes, i would...(from Naptown, Md)

and while i'm here, are there any athenas around annapolis area interested in putting in some miles over the weekends? i'm kind of new to this area and other than something called the Annapolis to Baltimore trail, i'm not sure where to ride (roadbike OR mtn bike).

also, i'm definitely an athena. i won my first road race in boulder when i was a size 6 (age 25) and that was at 150 lbs. now i am...ahem...north of 40 and well into athena territory. probably even clydesdale territory. no matter, i still want to ride. anyone around these parts...?
