Blazing saddle
I find that lately I'm shifting further toward the back of my saddle. It feels like maybe its better pedaling position, though it may just put the saddle better under my sit bones.
Does that mean that I should move the saddle forward to ride on the wider part of the saddle...or back to gain a better angle to pedal?

If your butt is telling you, "Go back" then listen to your butt
Saddle comfort is such a personal thing. Try both and see which one YOU fancy. I was told to mount the bike exaggerating your butt sticking out, then rock slightly forward into position.

Depends on what is causing you to feel like you want your butt further back. If you're feeling scrunched up in the upper body, or want more power to the pedals then you may want to put the seat further back. If it's because you're having trouble getting your butt into a good position on the saddle moving it forward may be the way to go. Test it out, change one thing at a time. Sometimes tiny changes made a big difference. Personally I'll make bigger changes so I can really feel the difference then bring it back a bit till it feels just right. Good luck!

Butt to the back
I had a pro shop use the fit kit to set me up on my bike several years back.
The Butt Back position not only eliminated the pain in de arse,it seemed to eliminate any knee pain as well.
Having the nose of the saddle dropped just a bit made all the difference as well.
