North Texas MS150...I did it
Just to show a Clyde can do it I rode the MS150 last weekend. Saturday was WINDY and really rough sometimes. Not sure what I was doing I didn’t drink enough and ended up sick but finished. Sunday was much better as far as the weather goes and I resolved to drink more and did but as I got close to the end I got excited and forgot. Good news is I just got a little sick But I finished my odometer said 158 miles at the end. Well the other news is I dropped below Clyde status Saturday night I weighted 199. I have been lurking around this board for a while and though I would tell y'all that some of your stories have kept me going I lost 155 pounds in the last year and I guess am in the best shape ever.
Thanks

Nice work Brandon! That's quite an accomplishment. I hope to drop below 200 lbs. this weekend over here in Shreveport at Tour De Goodwill. I'm only doing 75 miles though.

Great work.
My wife works for a large company that had a pretty good sized "team" riding in the 150. Next year we hope to do it.
Saturday was very windy--we did 17 miles around a local lake and really felt it when we would come out of the trees and into the exposed sections of the trail. I hope a good portion of the route was downwind for you.

Out fishing with Annie on his lap, a cigar in one hand and a ginger ale in the other, watching the sunset.
