(motrin) I am sooo close.. like 6 days away from 199. lifting weights is out fingers i cant lift sparring out for at least 1 week maybe 2. isometrics , crunches, leg lifts dont know? am i off the bike to? |
Either that or you traumatized an intracostal muscle. That actually hurts WORSE that a cracked rib.
Treatment is the same.....time. They don't tape fractured ribs anymore. As to riding, you'd need to talk to a doctor about that. It depends on how bad the crack is. |
rub some dirt on it;)

Wow, you really packed it in there. Hmm I don't mean by getting hurt, but just being busy.
So the question remains...what does the other guy look like? Tough break though. (In a non-pun kind of way). I have a question for you though. I am considering riding to the dojo which would be 2 or 3 times a week. Classes run for an intense 2 hours and it's a hilly ~6km ride each way. My concern is that I may be completely stuffed by the end of class (not so good for learning and concentration) and especially by the time I get home. How did you find it? Would you recommend it? |

(motrin) The finger is simple. Go to the drug store and get a splint to immobilize it. With both of these injuries, to the best of my knowledge, there is really nothing a doctor can do that you can't. At least, I have had both of these injuries before and i didn't go to the doctor :innocent: . |
yeah not a lot for the doc.. this moring my ribs atill ahce but not as much as before . finger definatly broken and imobilizing today. senceless to pay 300 for xray for doc to tell me if is not broke wait for the pain to decreas and if it s broke wait for the pain to decrease.
