grrr Sooo many places to put this Safety Advocey commuting or here... i chose here cause this rant is most fitting here.

Planet Green is a New Discovery Channel network for showcasing Green life styles and technology. On the show supper club a radio talk show host a novelestand a few others where posed the question: If your employer gave you a 20% raise to take a bike or walk to work would you do it.

They immediately said yes but not if your a fat guy in spandex 1 was actually a cyclist too, but there was no discussion about the functionality of cycling shorts. 1 tried to defend the FGIS by saying it was a motivational tool. stereotyping all spandex as wannabe "tour de france". They even made the comment that its fine once you are in shape.

This wasn't Speed channel or Spike TV, if the FGIS cant get a nod on a Green Technology Channel not show mind you a fracking channel by Discovery wow.

Which is ANOTHER reason to rail against this. How many people where initially inspired to get a bike by watching Lance on USPS and Discovery?
