Dead Legs Today

I had a good 30 miler on Sunday. Rode a hard 15 with intervals on Monday. Could not ride yesterday due to morning weather and my wifes afterwork meeting lasting until 9:30 pm. So I head out today with the idea of riding a decent pace 15 or so miles before my wife has to leave for work. From the moment I got on the bike my legs felt like stone. I picked an easy gear and spun out of the neighborhood and headed two miles to the mup and hoped my legs would warm up. Hit the trail and the legs were now wood instead of stone. I upped the pace alittle as I headed up a long false flat into the wind and held it constant until mile 8 where I had to turn around. I flew home but the whole time my legs were just screaming. Finished 16 miles at 14.5 miles an hour. My legs now feel great.

My legs stay stiff and tired until the 7th or 8th mile. After that, I'm loose as a goose!
