just got back from a trail ride on my mountain bike ... and it was overall a failure ... heh ... for some reason today i felt like i just could not keep my balance ... fell quite a few times ... played ping pong between some tree trunks ...

the final straw is when i was riding through some sand and something suddenly grabbed my tires and brought me to a stop ... but lucky for me the rotten tree's next to me that i grabbed ahold of .. broke, to help me cushion my fall (/endsarcasm) so now i have about 20 new scrapes on my legs and arms ... and a meh! feeling ...

only managed to get in almost 7 miles .. before i decided i better quit before i broke something.

Some days you're the windshield, some days you're the bug. Congrats on recognizing which type of day it was, and quitting before you got an even more unambiguous message (in skiing that's how a lot of people get hurt, by ignoring the signs that they're not on their game). Clean those scrapes out good and tell yourself that tomorrow is another day.

I hate days like that. I'm glad you are OK.
