No ride today.....Hanna

No ride today because of Hanna. Supposed to rain all day. Guess I'll take advantage and do some bike maintenance and catch up on a few Netflix movies.

I'm about an hour south of you . . . same thing here. Raining like heck.

I am in Glen Allen Va. and it is really starting to rain hard. So I guess I will also be doing some bike maintanence today.

I'm four hours north of you and we are bracing for the severe rain. We've had drizzle since last evening.

I was suppose to ride in the Amish Country Tour out of Dover, DE. But noticed on the events web site that ride was canceled due to Hanna. Later got an email on cancellation. It was sold as a rain or shine, so I was fully expecting to get wet, but guess the forecast of 40 mph winds was the deciding factor. Kind of calm right now in Pottstown, PA, was gonna ride around the block, but roads too wet. Just not the same thing and really don't feel like getting wet in my own neighborhood. Sure hope storm moves fast, as I also have the Shoo-Fly Classic ride on Sunday from Oley, Berks County, PA.

If those 40 mph winds are tailwinds, that would be an epic ride.

Went for a nice ride this morning right at daybreak. It was the first chance I had since dancing like a chicken when 'TS Faye' marched right over us, then followed by the feeder bands from 'Gustav' out in the gulf. After that it was threat of 'Hannah' and the outlieing winds from it. Now we have hurricane 'Ike' that might come our way.

We're a little bit 'skittish' 'bout storms 'round here!! :thumb:
