Rebuilding my wheel
Well I bit the bullet and took my wheel to the bike shop to have my wheel rebuilt. I broke my first spoke on this bike (broke many more on my previous bike) on Saturday. Broke 2 more spokes 8 days later. I decided I should no longer hope it was a fluke.
We are putting on DT Comp spoke, which are butted and hopefully stronger. I'd gone several hundred miles on this bike since I got it used without any broken spokes.
My previous fuji absolute that I bought new was breaking spokes just about every week. I got it when I was at 280. Now I am at 240.
I am REALLY hoping this cures the problem. I am tired of taking my bike into the shop.
Otherwise I guess I'll have to spring for a touring wheel.
