WHAT THE HECK!!! Bike park? Never seen anything like that around here!

Nice pix, looks like you're having fun!:D

So, did you make it over this rock? Looking at the angle (which does not compensate for momentum), it looks like success was questionable... you know, that whole "Center of Gravity" thing?

Nice pics!

Wow, very cool spot. I'd be much more motivated to ride my MTB if there was something like that around here. :)

Good for you! What a gorgeous place to ride.

Mazama 10-09-08 04:00 AM

Nice. That looks like Western Colorado, or Moab, UT area.

wayne pattee 10-09-08 04:41 AM

Looks like a lotta fun.
Thanks for the pics.

Looks like a lot of fun, and makes me want a MTN bike. I guess I can work on that by getting a third job. :-)

Yeah, sure doesn't look like NW Ohio.

CliftonGK1 10-09-08 05:58 AM

Is that a 16 paired spoke front wheel? For a Clyde... Doing 4' drops?

Looks like a hella fun park, though. Great pix!

bautieri 10-09-08 06:00 AM

Wow, awesome playground you have there.

My envy, let me show you it :)

zpl 10-09-08 06:30 AM

When I was into mountain bike racing in the early 90s, I always thought Hans Rey was really amazing with all the trials tricks he could do. That park looks like a basic trials course. Did your city/town actually build it?

TechKnowGN 10-09-08 07:19 AM

I think this entire thread was just to show off about catching all that air.

"Have you taken it off any sweet jumps?"

jboyd 10-09-08 09:01 AM

+1 for big time jealous!

You suck! No one should have that as a local park:(

I can do those tricks too, but it usually ends like this :injured:

It's actually in Colorado Springs, an hour south of Denver.

YUP!!! I had the matching back for a long time. It's crazy but that front rim has been one of the best rims I have ever had on that bike!

There is a bike club here, medicine wheel ( http://www.medwheel.org/ ) That built it with permission from the city.

That looks like a lot of fun. I've never tried mountain biking before.

StephenH 10-09-08 06:49 PM

I'd be in the hospital in two pieces if I tried that.

It depends on how old you are, if your under 25, you bounce,
If your between 25 and 39, you bounce, back.
If your 40 and over, you land with a thud, and break, something, arm, wrist, shoulder and collar bone are the most popular.....
