craigslist find - will it hold a clyde?
Ok, found a FUJI Team 2007 on craigslist for less than what I would pay for an entry level (my first) road bike. Will be taking a test ride this weekend but I would like to know if anyone has any experience with them and if the CF frame will support my 275# (slowly dropping). Seems like a good deal for a decent bike. Asking price is 750 - may be able to go lower....

My dad rides a full carbon ParkPre road bike @ 280+lbs...he's got just over 2500 miles on it. I'd say you'd be alright. That's a very nice bike at a very nice price...if you can get him to go lower that's always a plus. I'd jump on that deal bud

I wouldn't worry about the frame or forks at all. The wheels might need some consideration, but at that price it's a great deal.

I'm 240# & ride a CF frame....No problems to date. If the bike fits then it's a good deal. Wheels could be an issue - make sure to retension the spokes.

Good call on the spokes. Just start saving your pennies now, once you start popping spokes you can upgrade your wheels but until then just ride till they fall apart
