Caad 5 frame weight restriction
I recently purchase a caad 5 and I have some concerns about being 210 lbs on the bike. The thin tires, light frame etc. I am used to mountain bikes which feel more durable. Should I be concerned?

Keep the tires at maxium pressure and the spokes tight and you shouldn't have any problems. I'm riding a CF Lemond at 262 and I had to have my rear wheel trued today after I hit something.

Bigger guys than you riding road bikes. I'm in at 235lbs last check. As stated keep tires inflated and spokes tight.

So no real concerns about the frame? Should be able to withstand the weight? I have been reading about frames and concerns about cracks etc. It is aluminum.

Shoot, you're a lightweight. I wouldn't worry about anything other than your wheels, never heard of any problems involving that frame and your weight.
I started riding road bikes somewhere north of 250 pounds (scale broke) and haven't had a single problem other than loose spokes since the beginning.
