Keeping White Bar Tape WHite

My Tarmac came with white bar tape. I really like the way it looks with the bikes color scheme. I've tried red and black and it's just not the same. For the the love of Pete, how do you keep the white tape somewhat clean?!

Swap out the foam/cork tape for old-school cotton tape and shellac it. Then you can just wipe it clean with a damp cloth when it's dirty.

I have white tape on my cannondale and the best thing I have found is the Mr. Clean 'Magic Eraser' found in your local grocery store....trust me it works.

Yep, this is the answer. A mildly stiff bristled brush works well too.
