Under 200 and dropping

Weighed under 200 the last two mornings so its close to being official that Ill be dropped from the group. I figure that I have to go a week with constant below 200 to count but I have my goal set on losing another 50 so it shouldnt be difficult to leave clydesdale ranks for sure soon..For the last 3 years Ive hovered between 210 and 218.20 years ago I was 155..I just got sick and tied of the high blood pressure meds etc and decided to force the issue.I went to a Doctor who specializes in nutrition and he minced no words..Said to me "anyone can see whats wrong with you youre too fat to be healthy.Keep eating the way you are and if your heart doesnt get you something else will.Youre just too fat!"

My last two family doctors would never speak to me like that and my cardiologist said it[weight is a risk factor] in a nice way. My blood pressure has already dropped to below 120/80 and Im feeling better.

I should have seen a specialist sooner.Id recommend the same to anyone serious about weight loss.

I don't think we need to wait until you have had a week of sub 200s to congratulate you though. Awesome job!

I guess this is one group you don't mind be dropped from, just be careful of the "regroup"

Good job on the weight loss. Hope you stick around and give advice and inspiration to those here.

Congrats on the success!

BTW, this is a "No Drop" group. You just get Emeritus status. Kind of like being an Alumni, or as we Aggies would put it,a member of the "Association of Former Clydes and Athenas"..

+1, I dropped below 200 for about a month (185 being the lowest), then couldn't ride for a couple of months (health) and ended up depressed and binging. I just relaxed a little to much after reaching my partial goal of 200lbs. Keep getting inspired and keep it up

WTG and like mentioned work damn hard at keeping it off. I've been down to 195 from a high of 305 but ate my way back to 245. I'm at a better place and time in my life thou and back to 232 on my way to sub 200. Reading posts like yours gives me that extra something I need to keep me away from the junk. Now I just have to work on the portions...lol
