I expect I'll hit it early next week. Or maybe tomorrow, pending how far I go. I'm at 427 right now.

Disaster: I have a fever and cold. Daughter was sick Friday, and I started feeling it on Saturday.

Needed 30 miles each day M-F to make it. Hope to be back on the bike tomorrow, but I am taking a sick day today.

I'm going to make it -- barely. I got a good 46 miles in yesterday. I will have to ride 28 miles each day to finish, but I will make it.

Thanks Jesspal.

I am gonna do a 12 mile ride tomorrow morning to stretch out the legs and then a longer 40 mile ride on saturday morning. That should put me just over 500 for the month. I am gonna be on a cruise next month and then going to Greece in May. I'll still try to squeeze in the miles to make the mark.

I am out for the month. Hopefully I will do it in March. Torn right gastrocnemius muscle, so walking is a nightmare, and bicycling is a no go also. This was supposed to be my outside week also.

405 as of this evening. May or may not make it depending on how I feel about a big ride on Saturday.

Non-riding days associated with resting up / travel down & back to Myrtle Beach for the Metric ride killed my miles.

Remarkably I topped 600 for month today. It was surprising considering the short month and you never can predict how many riding days you will get. Our forecast is sketchy for the next few days, but with some luck maybe I can get 700.

If you are doing the 300 mile challenge on MapMyride they have made a change. When you reach 300 miles they close the challenge and you can sign up again starting the next day. I completed the challenge twice for the month.

Good luck to everyone else and keep pedaling for the 500!

466 after my ride in today. 34 to go, an easy split for tonight and tomorrow.

Thunderstorms today and tomorrow here, however, and I think I am getting bronchitus.

I'll make the goal, but I'll take a break next week.

BTW-- I have lost 12.5 pounds this month!

at 440 after this evenings post work ride. Managed to do one of my now famous (at least amongst the school bus load of laughing kids) Laugh-In style clipless dismounts and banged my knee pretty good.

Going out tomorrow, but not likely to do 60 miles and not planning to go hard until my knee quits aching.

Guessing I'll end up at a painfully close 480 or so.

I just finished a twenty mile ride for a total of 501. I am fighting off a cold and cough, really shouldn't be riding.

But considering I had 115 for January, I am quite pleased with myself.

No total miles goal for March, but I am going to start training for a century in late April.

Congrats to those who finished or nearly finished!

Pretty nice ride today with a bud, but not long enough to close the deal. I ended up at 477.
