Oooh, ouch. An alternate form of exercise!
Jumping on the trampoline with the kids two nights in a row is contra-indicated, according to my knees and hips.
All things in moderation, especially when you're just starting out again.
On the other hand, I can still do a forward flip! Can't (quite) land on my feet though. Whee!

trampolines are fun... i miss mine from when I was a kid ... never could do a clean flip or anything (landing on my neck once stopped me from trying more haha)

I once landed off a bit and my left knee smashed the metal tube that that holds the springs, then I fell to the ground in a ball and stayed like that sorta rolling on one side to the other for several minutes... Knee's never quite been the same since either, it would start hurting if I ran for a while. Ugh.
So, I hereby suggest sticking to bicycles.
