Is your "significant other" an Athena or Clydesdale?
I thought that I would just throw this out there, but I was wondering if your "significant other" was an Athena or Clydesdale. I just thought it might be interesting to see if most of us were involved with Athena/ Clydesdale types, or one of the smaller ones. Even if your are single, what kind of person are you attracted to.( You can vote for as many options as you want. Have fun with this !!!!

Answer is "yes", but it's not an "I like them big" deal, so none of your choices fit.

I like short women/Athenas. Thick and short. Like a smaller waist and some "BAM!" to go with it! I'd have to say I'm pretty happy with mine! pushing the height limit at 5'4 but there's enough "BAM!" to make me forget about it!:thumb:

MMMM HMMMM I loves me some long hair!:D http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l2...me/062808D.jpg |
My wife was a borderline Athena, but then she started getting serious about running and the weight came off. She started getting all skinny and hotter. I thought, "Ohh sh*t." She is getting better looking and I am getting fatter. I decided I had to keep up or I'd be in trouble ;)

Yes, my hubby is a Clyde. Of course, he's one of those guys that even at his ideal weight looks stocky. One of those guys with a truly broad bone structure. We've gained weight together though I was already fighting Athena-ism when we married.
He wasn't a Clyde when I married him. |
My wife weighs only ten pounds more than when we got married which was 35 years ago. She comes in at a whopping 138 lbs. I'm not saying what I weighed but I have gained over 110 pounds since then.
|
I didn't answer the the poll because there isn't a choice for me.
My wife weighs about 125 and is 5'6" tall. I weighed much much less when we met and eventually got married. I gained my weight after I made a hobby of reconstructive orthopedic surgery. |
My wife's 5'2" and about 115lbs. I was a Clyde when I married her and have gained more weight as we have been married. She's only gained weight two times, once with our first pregnancy and our son... now with our second pregnancy and our ??? we'll find out in April :)

S.o.
Oh Boy..Not touching this one.
This -if my susan ever saw it-would start the never ending exchange of words..a no win situation. Moving on now.... |
Granted, the poll is kind of silly, but it was not meant to be scientific. It is no more serious then people posting pictures of themselves shirtless. For the record, the poll does not exactly fit me either. My wife is Athena, and will never be anything less. She is 5'7" and has wide shoulders. The least she has ever weighed since we have been married is 165lbs and looked stunning. Even though tend to like the skinny ones, I always seem to end up with the plump one.
|
I like mine skinny. When wife and I started dating she was 98lbs. She is now an athena but I love her more today.
|
I can't vote - my SO is a Clyde but neither of us likes that we are big. I think we would both prefer to be thinner... but I am not superficial - it's not about just being thin. I would much rather have a big boy if he is sweet and can make me laugh! Thin is the last thing on my list.

Due to a lack of choices I choose my bicycle as my ideal signicant other. It doesn't talk back nor does it want to buy more furniture, all she asks is to be ridden (take that how you will). In this sense she is ideal if not bearing a slight resemblence to a bag of antlers. Look officer, all I'm saying is that she shouldn't have had such a tiny seat pack. She was asking for it going outside like that.

At 5' 9" 135 (and concerned about her weight) my wife has only been close to Athena status during her 2 pregnancies. On the other hand, I doubt I'll ever loose my Clyde status but plan to keep trying.
|
There are a couple of options missing:
Like my situation, my significant other is an Athena, who wants to do something about it..... Can't seem to get her to go very far on the bike though.... |

My husband isn't a clydesdale. He likes Athenas but I've date both clydes and non-clydes during my single years. I was always first attracted physically to beautiful eyes and smiles. My eyes travelled south later. But if he didn't have a sense of humour, forget it!
|
I voted "I like them skinny" even though my husband was a Clyde and I was thin when we got married. Today he's thin and I'm overweight. Aah well, easy come........ not so easy go.
