Looks like a nice weekend down your way Beanz. I did a solo ride on Friday down PCH past the Naval base

(That's my bike in the shadow of the jet.) My wife and I headed north along the coast Saturday and turned inland after passing the spectators watching the One Way Board Shop surfing competition and shared the MUP with some of the riders participating in the Mardi Gras Century ride (got a little sunburned but not too bad). Then headed out alone on Sunday for a short recovery ride and, after battling the wind for a while, decided to ride a bit further and treat myself to a new jersey from Performance (it was even on sale). And today, the rain is falling.

Saturday was a great day indeed!! I wish I could've stopped to chat or even ridden with you guys when we passed each other (south of the wooden bridge near Hamilton). I envy you and your wife for getting out there together and riding like you do. I finally got my wife out again Sunday (thanks to Jackie talking her into it). I have her read your postings all of the time. Maybe we'll run into you sometime. Besides, you park right by my van so we'll eventually run into each other again. Great pics by the way and see ya soon!

Hey Mr. Bennett, nice to see you too. We park at the same place but we head inland then back to the coast for 40,50 or 60 (Gypsum Cyn), whatever the weather allows. Gina bakes in the sun so we do what is comfy. Most of the time we do long rides but end up doing the final 12 back to the lot with a few others. Timing is everything!:D

Not sure how far you and the wife ride but we should figure something out for a fun ride!:thumb:
