Down one pound to 203 this morning, which is just where I want to be. The weather will not be great for the next few days so I will have to use the trainer. Bummer. Stuck to my diet goals for the week though. Also will be gone for the upcoming weekend but plan on taking bike with me to get a ride in.

Dropped a little.
Started year at 100kg, target 90kg
This week at 94.5kg/208.3lb

Goals this week:
- get out for 3 morning rides (one down!)
- compete in National Indoor Rowing Champs on Sunday and meet target time of 7.20 for 2km

Started to plan a short holiday to Taiwan (very cheap flights from Hong Kong) as I have been told by many people that even with the airfare added on, new bikes are 30-50% cheaper there. Once I hit that 90kg mark I am getting that carbon frame!

Man... I've been working like crazy lately. I'm on vacation this week and hoping that next week will be back to normal.

So I'm starting the week at 212.4. Hoping to be down to 212 or 211.6 by Sunday. I plan to ride at least my 25 mile commute each day while I'm at home and eat plenty of fresh, raw veggies.

I want to know if it makes a big difference in riding as I have carbon forks and carbon somehting else but mostly aluminum (Specialized Dolce Elite). So when you get it let me know if upgrading really helps!! I thinkI ned to wait a few years before I am in that league!!

Thanks for the cheer! I'm going to need all the help I can get because the fit, young, tall, gorgeous ladies I coach for rowing are all trying to beat my time (I'm a pro rowing coach). The bet is that I'm buying dinner for any girl (from our club) who beats my time. Last year I died in the 3rd 500m and ended up having to buy dinner for my wife - very embarrassing! (OK, wife is 10 years younger and 2 time Hong Kong Open Women's Champion, so that is cool I guess). This year I'm a lot fitter and training ergs are easily beating last year's time, but there is this fit 6'1" English girl who I'm worried about...

I'm looking at a Giant TCR Advanced 2 (Ultegra SL, compact crank), but I'm getting some more info on other options that I might have available. Want to stick to known brands for resale and vanity reasons, but since just about everything is made in Taiwan I'm hoping to get a nice choice. It is possible to buy a bike for about 60% of my local retail, so well worth the trip. I'm riding a CAAD 9 at the moment.

I actually gained two pounds this week, between an impromptu night shift where I snacked all night and our bachelor/bachelorette party I've learned it is way to easy to gain some by just not paying attention a couple of days.

Riding goals were met though, so at least some good this week.

well i gained a little, about three pounds, by the end of last week, but as of today i'm down to 276... my goal of mountain biking twice a week was met, but until i get a new road wheelset i wont be doing to much road riding... and i still havent hit the gym yet...

since it's my spring break this week, my goal is to simply not gain weight, while riding at least three times this week...

Oh well I'm starting off the week at 252.
I did make my 400k (250 mile ride) on Saturday so I hope alot of it may be water weight.

This week I hope to get back on the bike and over my knee and ankle soreness
Keep watching intake to drop some more weight before my upcoming 600k so I don't take such a beating on hills.

Monday I was at 222.6 down 3.2 from last Monday. I actually traveled last week and ate too much and then had a good weight loss after having two weeks of small weight losses, crazy. This week I'll be traveling again and will try to control my eating better. So far I've lost 33.2 pounds using the Daily Plate since October 6th.

I'm up 1/2 pound. However, the family and I did go see a nutritionist this week. I knew most of what she told us, but it was good for the wife and kids to hear it. So, we are going start eating healthier all around. I did get more bicycling in this week, but now I'm sick. So I probably won't ride until Sunday.

Managed to stay pretty much on target at the Hong Kong Indoor Rowing Championships this morning.

Aiming for 7.20 (1.50 '500' splits for those of you in the know), and managed to finish at 7.22. Pretty happy with that. Came second in my division (men 30-39) and didn't need to barf at the end.

Wife raced lightweight Open Women's and came second to the girl who rowed at the Olympics last year. A bunch of other folk from the club won or got places.

Down 1.4 pounds this week, and considering I was sick all week and got very little done in the way of riding other than sat/sun, I feel pretty good about it.

249 back down a pound.
My Doctor won't refill my prescription for hydrochlorothiazide and won't return my calls since they told me to have the pharmacy fax the request over. The pharmacy has requested it 3x and I've called 2x so maybe this is my Doctors way of saying I don't need it anymore. Yes I had been looking for a new doctor anyhow.
I was feeling the effects of sensitivity to the sun and the blood test were showing increased blood sugar which are both side affects. My BP is well below 120/80 but I'm afraid I'm going to keep on the water weight which I lost when I went on the pill. Guess I'll need to actually lose some weight now.
