Question unrelated to bikes...

Ok, so I was looking at the side of a Coke Zero can and it says there is nothing in it... So, where does the taste come from? And why does it make me nautious and give me headaches? Tried it a couple of times and don't drink it anymore. Doesn't work for me. I figure that I am asperthame intolerant. Some people say they can't taste it... I can even smell asperthame. Guess I'd better stick to water!

Eric...

I've never tried a diet soda that didn't have some after taste or other negative effect. I'll stick with unsweetened iced tea.

and look up "super taster" if you can taste a difference between sugar and "sweet and low", equal and the other sugar substitutes, you are probably a super taster

It has nothing with a calorie content but it is still made of chemicals and such. It is mostly Carbonated Water, Aspartame, Caffeine, Phosphoric Acid and Potassium Citrates.

My husband can't tolerate aspatarme either. Someone I knew couldn't drink anything with caramel coloring. Many dyes can make some sick. Ice tea here too, or fruit juice with sparkling water for fizz.
