Let me introduce... Benny, my new ride!

Hi everyone, here is the new addition to my try to lose weight family. Benny. Benny is a Giant XTC SE. She is the first bike I've had in about 20 years. Just to ket you know my last bike was a norco Big Foot. Got great milage out of it but, that was a long, long time ago.

I am starting my official weight control tonight, at 364lbs. I was actually at 392 last time this year but I lost a bit of weight. Didn't include the exercise aspect so I stalled and eventually gaind 12 lbs back, but that progression was caught in time.

I will post regularly and maybe even try and join in some of the groups. I just need to get some legs back under me. I am fortunate to have nice flat rice padys to ride through near my house and gonna get up nice an early tomorrow morning and go for a litlle spin.

Trying to break 300 by the end of the summer. And then get back to about 250 before my son's 5th birthday in 2 years. I want to take him to Disney World and be able to do all the rides with him and not have to watch from the sides cause the the track buckles and not the belt!

Anyhow, just though I'd share!

See you in the pady's!

Eric...

Sorry about that, I am living and working in South Korea. The city I live in is boardered by an aquaduct and surounded by rice padys. rice fields, so to speak and they are littered with service roads, mostly dirt or concrete. Quite flat and vast. Will post some pics when I take the camera out with me!

Cheers,

Eric...

There are some fields like that out here. However, not the ones I will be riding. The ones my my place are flat and very long. I'll post some pics soon. What I see on this picture is actually verymuch like some paddy's that I've seen in the mountains in the Philippines, in Northern Lauzon. Maybe one day I'll be fit enouh to ride thoses.
