Ok, I need URGENT clothing help

The triathlon shorts I ordered from Performance Bike DO NOT FIT! And XXL is their biggest size. Anyone know of a place that makes larger Triathlon shorts?

For those who don't know, Tri shorts are bike shorts with a thinner pad and made of materials designed to drop the water from the swim a little faster.

Will consider a 1 piece if it isnt incredibly expensive, or a top and bottom set.

10 days til race day.

https://www.aerotechdesigns.com/triathlon.htm

Some of the clydes have posted very positive reviews on their cycling shorts. No data on the tri shorts.
Sizes to 5XL.

If you go w/ Aerotech, please post a review of you experience w/ their tri shorts.

Best of luck!!!

I went with the 2X AND 3X, and whichever I don't use, I'll just send back for refund.

Being the eternal optomist that I am:

If you need the 3XL now, save the 2XL -- you'll "Grow" (or should I say "Shrink" ?) into them !!

Spiffy - good point. I think Im in the upper end of the 2XL, but I wanted to be safe. If Im in the 3X, I might keep the 2X. If Im in the 2X, the 3X goes back FOR SURE!

I wear shorts at my hips, so I'll be glad to share that size. I'll get my waist measurement, but unsure how comfy I am with sharing that one LOL.

I make 3X and 4X but they are not triathlon specific. They have what I would consider a medium thickness multidensity pad.

You can check them out at our site if interested (link is below).

Use this coupon code that I created for bike forum members for $5 off any item: BFDN

The Aerotech stuff fits pretty good and is pretty close to the sizing. I find it a little bigger. I will check your stuff out as well Dan.

Dan, I used the CLYD code that you made up for us Clydesdale/Athena forum members and worked two days ago when I ordered. It looks like that my 2 pair of deluxe bibs shipped today so I am not so patiently waiting to try these things out. Hopefully, I will be able to give a good report to the members here of what I think of them.

I wear size 44 waist, and I wear them at my hips. even with my past couple of weeks of not following my food program very well, I still need a belt to keep them on (for a big guy, I dont have much of a butt!) I would imagine my belly measurement exceeds this by a good bit.

My shorts shipped yesterday, so I'll let you know as soon as they get here and I try them on.

I'd just made the step from 42 to 44 when I started biking a couple (3?) years ago. Along with watching my diet, I can now wear a 36 waist in most cuts. Every now and then I have to buy a 38 and hoping to get to a solid 36 by late summer.

Good luck and keep at it.
