Bike Weight Capacity

Hello. I am an old (57) rider who has been off the bike for a while and my weight has ballooned up to about 310 or so. This summer, I'm gonna try to address that with riding again. My bikes, however, concern me.

I have a Cannondale (aluminum) Road bike from the mid 80s (forget which one) and a Specialized Rock Hopper Sport (no shocks) from the late 80s. I also have a Giant Revive.

Since I am so large now, I wonder if I can ride those bikes safely. I can't seem to find any info on weight limits for most bicycles.

Any help you can give me would be most appreciated.

Thanks.

Frames are usually good for 500 pounds. Wheels are the weak point. The three bikes you listed should be good to ride if you have good wheelsets on them.

i wouldnt be scared of any of them and im 320 down from 345+ when i bought my 08 specialized sequoia elite last fall. i also ride my 86 raleigh record from time to time. make sure your wheels stay true and i would think they should work fine.
