Sad about Dahon Mariner
Was going to buy this today from the LBS but right before I did, I thought to ask about my weight since I'm no bean pole. I weigh 240 pounds, Dahon website says 230 as a max.
I'm sure there is wiggle room there but why risk how much when spending 500 dollars.

If you rode it consistantly you would probably drop below the max weight threshold pretty quick. I understand your concern though. $500 is alot of money, especially in this economy!!

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that is the lawyer weight and the engineer weight. Like Kenseth said, it won't take long to drop 10 pounds if you ride it regularly.
