Ok guys, today makes 2 weeks since I quit. I haven't had a singe slip up, so I'm proud.
Well, I haven't had a smoking slip up. I used to smoke instead of giving in to my other cravings. So... I have had some ice cream, a cinnamon roll, and a piece of carrot cake.
Of course, then I feel like I have just ruined my diet for the whole day and to make up for it I have to spend extra time on the elliptical or treadmill. All that makes me want to smoke really bad.
I think I can hold out. I started a new running program today, so I think that will keep me away from them.

Quitting smoking is the hardest thing I've ever done. You've just finished the hardest two weeks. Keep it up!

And a bunch of other emoticons and stuff that all say*********CONGRATULATION!!!!!**************
You have done the hardest part which is really the first three days (trust me I used to work in a drug rehap and nicotine is just another drug!) You just have to remember that the longer you go without picking up a cigarette then the longer you go without picking up a cigarette. I am so proud of you!

Thanks guys. I think the biggest turning point for me was realizing that I didn't have to do anything at all to quit. I've been working SO hard to eat healthy, cycle, lift weights, swim, run etc. I decided that if I can go through all that effort every single day, then surely I can quit smoking. It doesn't require me to do anything at all. Right about now, I need to be able to accomplish something that isn't going hurt.
