Finally the post is up...yaaay.
After getting back on track and down to 255 I have reset my immediate goal. I want to get to 245 by 1st weekend in Sept so that is 2lbs per week with a weeks cushion (we are heading to hotlanta for Dragon-Con that weekend). So goal for this week is of course lose 2lbs. I also want my customary minimum of 2 rides.

Hey Miss Bumble who is the lucky guy. Where do we have to go to ambush him *ROFL*.

Hope you have a great time and dont worry even steak houses do yummy salads. If you are worried look at the nutritional info before you go and figure what works for your calorie/fat/carb intake before hand. Its what I do

Wait are you "oh dearing" becasue of the date not because of eating at a steak house *LOL*

Jordan300 07-21-09 07:44 AM

oh there's a new thread every week? I think I get it now

I'm weighing in at 250.
I am working on getting to the gym three days a week before work. And riding three times a week 15-20 miles.
My diet, which is my biggest hurddle, is being cleaned up and scaled down a bit.

JonnyHK 07-21-09 08:59 AM

Did I put my post in last weeks thread? Damn!

EDIT

been bouncing around 93-94kg for a couple of months now. Down at the 93kg end today. Going riding tomorrow am with some made triathletes - maybe that will help!

MaxedOut 07-21-09 11:50 PM

Hey Everyone,
I haven't been in here for awhile...Life kind of got in the way :(
I haven't even been able to get on the bike for several months now
However I have been able to get back on track with the weight lose, after gaining several pounds back.

Current weight(Drum Roll.....) 198 lbs. Finally...Its been awhile since I could say I was in the hundreds weight class.

Goals:
Try to get back in the saddle
Watch what I eat
Drink even more water
Get back on a steady exercise routine

rsyb 07-22-09 07:44 AM

Hey everybody! Been a long time since I've checked in.

I started out somewhere around 230 lbs. Currently at 202 lbs. I did see 198 for a couple of days, but I can't count it. Weight drop due to a clear liquid diet and a couple of days in the hospital. Fully recovered and on the bike again!

I've logged approximately 100 rides and 1500 miles. I think about 900 of that on the road, the rest on the trainer during the cold, snowy months.

My goal is still to get to 190 before my first organized century ride in September. 37th Annual Capital City Century

I am watching my food intake. Limiting fats and sugars; more fruits, veggies, lean proteins. I do weigh in daily. I like to see how my eating and exercise from the previous day affects my weight. Learn from my mistakes! :)

scotlandtb 07-27-09 08:03 AM

Well weigh in this weekend was 252 lbs so a weight loss of 3lbs. Only got one ride in this week and it was a 10.8 mile 16.31mph ride. I would have done more but P.T. worked on calves Thursday and they were a little sore for the ride Friday. Combine this with the need to mow the lawn and do yard work I had to compromise.

I am pretty stoked about the mph on this ride though. I believe it is my highest sustained MPH.

hardd1 07-27-09 08:53 AM

On 6/9/09 I weighed in at 375.5 lbs at a Medi Weight Loss Clinic.....today I weighed in at 326.4 lbs. (49.1 lb loss) It is a low carb plan. I bought a bicycle (Specialized) on 7/14/09 after growing bored on a treadmill. Best thing I done in a long while as the bike really motivates me. I have a 5 mile course I ride before and after work for a total of 10 miles per day. I would like to increase the distance of my rides eventually, but for now I try to increase the speed. I will never leave the Clydesdales as I am 6'4'' tall and my goal weight is 225 lbs.....

MikeM21 07-27-09 10:03 AM

OK I'm back. Missed a week and really dreaded the weigh-in after a week of no workouts and almost no rides. 253 3/4! Still lost 1 3/4 lbs. Phew! So maybe this metabolism thing has some merit.

This week - back to the gym and the bike everyday. I went on a tough 35 miler yesterday and am feeling the effects today. Very sluggish in the gym but it's good to be back. I'm shooting for 3 lb weight loss this week. Gotta be tough with the diet.

MM

BullGatorTitan 07-27-09 11:04 AM

New the forum, but I will participate in this. I weighed in this morning at 228.4 (after being 238 at the beginning of July). I just started riding hard with some guys at work last week and my goal this week is to be able to ride all 5 days with them at lunch, as hard as I did today (9 miles, including one bridge that goes over the intracoastal). My goal for this week will be 4-5 lbs, as I hope to be down near 200 by Sep 30th.

I want to continue to eat smaller meals more often through the day and keep up the weekend excercise, whether it be on the bike or in the kayak.
