thinking of being really really bad...

was going to take 19" Trek Mt. track 850 XL and do a little upgrading...
.
being that I am 6'6" shouldn't I be on a 23" bike?
.
so with that in mind... if I was to buy a house bike i.e. Specialized Hardrock... should I go for the sport disc (MSRP $580 or $500 for non disc model?)... it will be the top tier for the Hardrock... either with or without disc...
.
yes I am still going to get the Schwinn Premis if available...
.
thoughts? I wanna dabble in the off road since I used to ride dirt bikes and race on the Rocky Mountain Enduro Circuit... and use it for a kick around...
.
good idea? or???

I don't like disk brakes personally, but since they are becoming the standard, you should get the Disk model. I avoided them on my last mountain bike and then ended up having to get a disk brake for the front. I damaged the original fork, and then found out there aren'y any 29er suspension forks made that will take V brakes.

Out fishing with Annie on his lap, a cigar in one hand and a ginger ale in the other, watching the sunset.

Yes, if it fits her. That's a great deal.

well it is confirmed!

went to bike store today they have new 2010 Specialized Hardrock Comp Disc...

just like last year except it is available with a 29" wheel!!! (goodness they ride nice)

one test ride and I had to get self control (it was only a 21" frame) I have never fit on a bike like this before!

so I am going to work my butt off... on my newly acquired Schwinn Premis and this spring I am going to get one...

so glad I didnt get jumpy and buy the 2009....

peace out
