vital stats

I find this quite interesting. So I weigh about 305, 44 years young, get some physical activity, albeit not as much as I would like, but here are my vital stats over the last three days. I take these in the morning after my shower. I sit for about 2 minutes before taking BP and RHR. I am kind of amazed that my RHR is so low and I am by no means in good aerobic shape.
BP RHR
132/72 61
123/74 60
122/68 59

Those aren't bad, especially given your weight. How tall are you?

Once you've ridden for a while, your RHR will go way down. I just measured mine and it's 60, but I'm sitting at my desk at lunchtime, having had 4 cups of coffee this morning :)

I have no idea about day to day blood pressure, last I was checked about 4 months ago it was 120/78. I do know that when I put my HR monitor onfor riding it's usually around 88 when I start. Todays ride my average was 158 with a high of 190bpm over the course of a 3 hour ride. For what it worth I'm 6'1" 220lbs 38 years old.

Well, according to the chart at http://www.vaughns-1-pagers.com/medi...d-pressure.htm, you're in the "high normal" range. In other words, it could be better, but you're probably not going to keel over tomorrow.

That's pretty good stats. Your BP's are a little on the high side according to the latest standards but all in all not bad!!
