I did it!

My first century. Actually, it was a little longer because I took the scenic route through Ann Arbor. I came through the city before the football game (UofM vs. EMU) and traffic was WAY heavy and completely blew the turn (still not sure where I missed the turn). Luckily, this ride had a hotline number printed right on the wristbands and they got me back on track.

So, ~104 miles in 7:24:44 saddle time / 8.5 hours total time.

Thank you PEAC!
Michigan riders, Please do the Celebration of Cycling ride next year. It supports a great cause and has helped my own brother!

And I had a new top speed... 35MPH (downhill of course).

Thanks Shinnster, you'll get there too.

Congrats!!

I just did my first century in two years, today myself. It was a lot of climbing for me (about 4,000 ft.)
I'm a little stiff tonight but feeling pretty good considering.

Congrats!!!! Did my first back in August and it sure is a great feeling. I've done two others since and while they were good, they just weren't as great as the first. Enjoy!!
