Blood preasure
When I started riding hard this year it was to loose weight and get in better shape. One major milestone that I didn't check was my blood preasure which always runs a little high. I had it checked Sunday by a nurse and I don't know when it has ever been lower. This works and it also helps keep me out of the docs. BP 132/68.

You gonna eat that?
All my health indicators have improved since I've started riding regularly.... well, maybe except weight. But I don't mind a little extra weight if everything else is good. And I think the weight finally is starting to come off.

I need to get mine checked. Since August I have done more than I thought I would and have noticed my legs are much stronger and my VO2 has increased. I recover more quickly at the top of a climb and I can pedal at a higher speed for longer periods of time. And it all started with the decision back in November to get off my a$$ and ride. My first ride was a 10 miler and was wasted when I got home. This makes me excited to what 2010 will bring. I am determined to not lose what strength I have gained through the winter months. Of course, if my eating habits would get under control I would be losing a lot more weight.
