Today' Ride.... Little-Bit-O-Climbing

12/17.... 21 miles, uhhhh, maybe 2200 feet from home up to the tunnels on Mt Baldy Rd. I'm liking this little Flip video thingy! Man oh man, time to start getting the diet back on track, too many holiday goodies and birthday parties!

Also takes still shots from the video.

this is dangerous. I think there should be some sort of Federal Regulation of this Flip thing....

Nice.

You need 12 pounds of chain around your neck if your gonna rant like that. I can relate with the deep breathing. Those were cleansing breathes, right?

Hmmm, let me see. An 8 mile climb with 2200'ish feet from home and I knew I'd do more than one take for the video, so yeah, I cruised up and did 3 takes at a higher speed on THIS day. When I train for a ride( like Ride Around the Bear), I do this speed on this section all the time as a final interval. I'll do this ride 2 or 3 times during the week. This is my usual turnaround point during the week so on a short climb like this, so it's no problem to do this speed on this section since the ride home is pure downhill

There's a good reason I don't associate with neighbors!
