Well, a night of tamale making!
...The pics were taken before the second half of the troops showed up. As usual, everyone is invitied to help in the 'making' but only a few show up for that. The rest show up when everything is done and ready eat. But we know who they are!
Gina spreading the masa onto the corn husk.

Mom wrapping while Gina soaks and washes the husk.

My older daugher is one mean wrapper! The other is worried about getting her nails dirty!

Dad the Master Mixer...well maybe not. His eyes aren't so good anymore so if you find a finger in your tamale, you win a prize!

Two big pots of tamales, enough for everybody!

Looking ito Mom's kitchen while a few of the peps eat

A few of the kids play, anything to keep them from stalling production!
