A shiny new bike...

... to be seen under a clyde soon.

Drove out post snowstorm to an LBS with a bad case of spring fever. And all I got was a Secteur Elite.

I got a commuter type bike last year and out grew it quickly. I then resurrected my old Raleigh 10 speed that I had put upright bars on. I then put dropped bars on it but it felt as if I was being stretched out. So, I'll put the uprights back on that, and the Secteur oughta get me onto longer rides.

The shop got me onto a properly sized bike. I would have guessed a bigger frame, but they parked me onto a smaller one and I was astonished how comfy it was. I didn't want to get off the training stand.

Now the spring fever is worse. More snow coming, at this rate we wont see ground again until March.

That's the model I've been looking at a lot lately. Going to the LBS this weekend to check a couple out.

It's arrived in the shop and is assembled, waiting for me to pick up. Now if we didn't have a foot and a half of snow...

At least it got there quick, maybe too quick with all this snow. It will go away sometime tho'!
I've decided to wait till next week to go looking for my new bike. Depends on how soon the tax refund hits the account. Hopefully a lot of this snow will be gone, by the time I get it.
