Personal Best - 38 miles - fun ride...

Just posting to say what a great day for a ride today was! Mid-60's, so I set off to break my personal record of 32 miles in one ride. After 3hrs 10 mins, I called it quits as it was getting late but I clocked in at 38 mile - I was very happy as back in february I was thrilled at my 8 mile personal best. I would have gotten a little further in the same time but I have an issues with numb toes - the problem being my toes slam into the front of my "regular" training shoes.
I have new shimano cleat shoes and SPD pedals but need to train myself on them and so need a window of time to fit and use them. I'm on the bike almost everyday and so dont want to interrupt my biking schedule to learn how to ride clipless. All in all, Im loving the Roubaix and Im down form 315 to 295lbs - just had such a good ride I wanted to share. Heres a pic..

Hey sounds great! Congrats on the weight loss, too. I'm fiddling in th 15km range. Yesterday in the mountains just killed me and today just a pleasure rid with my son.

What a nice area to ride in! More photos, please. You'll be doing a metric century (62 miles) soon.
