Any other Clydes doing Livestrong Philly?
Hey all,
Long time no talk! At any rate, life has been busy, currently down to 215 and change (from a high 285, and from 271 when I started riding).
Just wondering if anyone else is doing the Livestrong Challenge: Philly this year? I'm doing it as part of Team Fatty (shameless plug for donations https://bit.ly/lsnooch).. Planning for the 10k run and the 45 mile ride, however if I raise $1500 I'll do the 70 mile ride, and if I raise $2500 I'll do the 100 mile ride.
So... Yeah. That's about it!

I'm thinking about it. I have a non-Clyde friend who stayed at my house when he tried the 100 mile ride last year -- in 95 degree weather, he managed 80 miles, and spend the rest of the evening cursing Chris Carmichael (Lance Armstrong's coach loves hills, and laid out the course).
Problem is, I've already hit up my friends for one fundraiser already this year (Chesapeake Challenge ride for MS, planning on a metric century, donations at https://bit.ly/aQrraq ), and I don't want to go begging to them too often.
