Going to ride today

I was called last yesterday and was asked if I could lead the Henry Ride. Its not much of a ride, but it should be fun.

"Last yesterday?" Is that a Southern expression? Or a Texas one? I love it.

Have fun on the ride, y'all!

I should probably proofread my post before posting them. It was originally going to be "last night", but I changed my mind and put it as "yesterday". It ended up being a wonderful ride, had 5 people riding. One guy had a tube and a tire blow out, about 5 miles out of town. Other than that it was a wonderful ride. We picked up the pace from a 13 mph average to 17-20 for the last 5 miles.

Glad you had a good time. I wish "last yesterday" was genuine Southern.

Out fishing with Annie on his lap, a cigar in one hand and a ginger ale in the other, watching the sunset.

This is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO appropriate.

The Authentic Frontier Gibberish scene from Blazing Saddles.
